Complete ResultsPrinceton, N.J.- Three freshman turned in top three finishes to lead the La Salle women's track and field on Saturday at the Princeton Tiger Invite held at Jadwin Gymnasium.

Freshman
Morgan Szekely won the 3000 meter run thanks to a time of 10:01.92 in what was her first career track outing for the Explorers. Szekely had the top time in the field of 26 by over two seconds. Seniors
Molly Mickle and
Courtney Cramer also competed in the event finishing in 12
th and 23
rd places respectively thanks to times of 10:34.67 and 11:13.12.

In the 1000 meter run freshman
Ifetayo Tyler turned in another strong performance for the Explorers. Tyler finished in third of a field of 22 thanks to a time of 3:01.00 which was just .7 seconds off of the winning time. Junior
Rebecca Scardelletti also competed in the event earning a 13
th place finish thanks to a time of 3:07.87.

Freshman
Megan Connell completed the trio of impressive freshman performances with a third place finish in the 1 mile run. Connell turned in a time of 5:07.32 in the field of 30. Sophomore Oliva Boyer also competed in the event and ran a career best with a time of 5:31.81 for a 22
nd place finish.

Junior
Kate Conville competed in the 800 meter run and finished with a time of 2:24.41 to finish in 10
th place in a field of 18.

The Explorers return to action next weekend as they will have competitors at the Penn State National Invitational as well as the Patriot Games.Â
