Kendall Kreider has been named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. She shares the award with Davidson's Anne Federico.
Kreider had three goals, including two game-winners, in a pair of La Salle victories this weekend. She scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Saint Joseph's that kept the Explorers' playoff chances alive.
In a 3-0 win over Towson on Sunday, Kreider scored the game's first goal to snap a 0-0 tie right after halftime.
Kreider currently leads the team in goals (four) and points (11). She is third in the Atlantic 10 with three game-winning goals.
La Salle (7-7, 3-3 A-10) visits Massachusetts on Friday in a key Atlantic 10 showdown.Â
