Did you know?- La Salle women student-athletes have been selected as University Commencement speakers for the past two years. Softball player
Emily Moran, '14, and
Maddy Collins, '15, of women's lacrosse, represented the La Salle student body at their respective Commencement ceremonies. Moran is believed to be the first student-athlete ever selected to speak at La Salle's Commencement.
- La Salle women student-athletes have been named Scholar or Academic All-America a total of 50 times.
Kelsey Haycook, '15, of women's soccer, was the most recent female student-athlete to receive Scholar or Academic All-America honors. She received both awards a total of four times.
- La Salle can celebrate 33 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Performers and 11 Atlantic 10 team championships in women's sports.
-La Salle women student-athletes have higher graduation success rates and grade point averages than the student body as a whole.
