Morgan Szekely earned All-NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional honors thanks to her eighth place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in Princeton on Friday afternoon.

Szekely finished in eighth place overall thanks to a time of 21:12.7 on the day. Szekely awaits official word on her status of earning a NCAA Championships at large spot.

The Marion, Texas native was the sixth individual not on one of the top two teams who automatically qualify to cross the finish line. If Princeton, who finished third in the regional receives an at large bit, Szekely would be pushed into the top four individual finishers an earn a trip to Louisville.

Freshman
Kaitlin Poiesz was the second Explorer across the line finishing in 54
th place thanks to a time of 22:13.6. Senior
Rebecca Scardelletti finished in 83
rd place thanks to a time of 22:59.1.

The final two point scorers for La Salle were graduate student
Lauren Columbare and sophomore
Megan Connell. Columbare crossed in 89
th place with a time of 23:04.3 and Connell was close behind in 94
th place with a time of 23:08.2.

Juniors
Olivia Boyer (23:28.8) and
Kaylie McNally (23:30.1) finishing in 116
th place and 120
th place respectively to round out the Explorers finishers on the day.

La Salle finished in ninth place out of 30 teams on the day. The Explorers moved up three spots from their 12
th place finish at last year's NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.

The Explorers were the top finishing Atlantic 10 team in the region two spots ahead of Saint Joseph's who finished in 11
th place.Â
