2015 NSCAA NCAA Division I Men's All-Midwest Region
KANSAS CITY, Mo. –Senior
Joe Farrell has been named to the Midwest All-Region team for the fourth straight season, joining Vince Kelly (1974-77) and Cesidio Colasante (1994-97) as the only Explorers to earn four All-Region nods.
Farrell split time between forward and defender this fall, finishing the season with two goals and three assists. The Blue Bell, Pa. native scored the game-winner in a 1-0 defeat of Loyola in La Salle's home opener in August.
The Wissahickon grad is tied for third all-time at La Salle in games played with 76, including 74 starts. Farrell is tied for eighth in program history with 16 career assists, and has scored 16 goals as a four-year starter for a total of 48 career points.
Farrell led the Explorers in scoring with seven goals as a junior on the way to an A-10 All-Conference nod. The Wissahickon graduate was named to the A-10 and Soccer 6 All-Rookie teams in 2012 and is a two-time Soccer Six All-Star.
Farrell was one of 14 Atlantic 10 players to be named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region team.
