PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team returns from its five-game road swing on Wednesday night to host North Texas at 7 p.m.

Scouting the ExplorersThe Explorers return home after five straight road games to take the court at Tom Gola Arena for the first time since November 21.
Junior
Micahya Owens leads the team with 14.6 points per game, which is 10th in the A-10 in scoring. The Willingboro, N.J. native needs just 44 points to become the 24th Explorer to score 1,000 career points.
Ashanti Freeland pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds last time out against UMBC (Dec. 6), and leads La Salle in rebounding with 6.5 per game.
Junior
Jasmine Alston is third in the Atlantic 10 in assists (5.1 per game) and steals (2.4 per game). Alston also chips in 5.3 points per game, including a season-high 12 in the win over Howard (Dec. 2).
Freshman
Adreana Miller had a team-high nine points for La Salle against UMBC, and currently sits 7th in the A-10 with 14 three-point field goals. The Somerset, N.J. native has scored in double figures in four games this season, including 15 points in the win over Howard.
Scouting the Mean Green North Texas is coming off a 62-51 road loss to the Iona Gaels after falling behind 36-14 in the opening half.
The Mean Green feature a balanced attack, starting with Candice Adam's 10.7 points per game. The junior poured in a career-high 18 points at IUPUI (Dec. 5) and has scored in double figures four times this season.
Fellow junior Kelsey Criner chips in 10.5 ppg and is coming off a career-high 19 points in the loss at Iona. North Texas features four other players that contribute at least 6.5 points per game.
Acheil Tac adds 8.8 points per game and leads North Texas on the glass with 7.3 rebounds per game. The 6-2 senior has three double-doubles this year, including an 18-point, 15-rebound outburst at Texas State (Nov. 21).
