PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle women's track and field team heads to Rhode Island to compete in the 2015 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships. The Explorers will enter 14 women in 11 events over the weekend.

A pair of freshmen enter the 200 meter preliminary field of 19 as
Amber Jenkins and
Victoria Jones will run in the event. Jenkins' college best time in the event is a 27.01 at the Patriot games while Jones ran a 28.73 at the Giegengack Invitational. Classmate
Carolyn Boyce is the sole Explorer in the field of 19 for the 400 meter. Boyce owns a college best of 1:05.69 in the event having run that at the Giegengack Invitational.

Two juniors and a freshman enter the 800 meter prelim field of 22.
Shannon Dwyer and
Kate Conville are joined in the event by freshman
Ifetayo Tyler. Of the three
Kate Conville owns the best time this season in the event having run a 2:19.19 at the Giegengack Invitational.

A pair of upperclassmen enter the 1000 meters field of 18 as senior
Cayleigh Solano and junior
Rebecca Scardelletti will run in the event. Scardelletti has a college best of 3:03.2 in the event at last season Atlantic 10 Championships while Solano ran a person best of 2:55.07 at this seasons Yale Giegengack Invitational.

Taylor Hackett and freshman
Morgan Szekely will be in the 32 women field for the 3000 meter. Hackett has a season best time of 10:13.86 in the event at the Penn State Nationals while Szekely has only ran the event once in college finishing in 10:01.92 at the Tiger Open.

Three women enter the 30 person field for the 5000 meter run. Junior
Molly Mickle, freshman
Michelle Myland and sophomore
Olivia Boyer will all compete in the event for the Explorers. Mickle owns the best time this season of the three having run a 17:38.86 at the Giegengack Invitational.

Sophomore
Amber Jackson will enter both the long jump and the triple jump for the Explorers. Jackson's best long jump in college is a 5.61 meter leap at the Jack Pyrah Invitational while she had her best triple jump performance last season at the Columbia Invitational with an 11.12 meter distance.

The Explorers will also enter three teams into relays with teams competing in the 4x400 meter relay, 4x800 meter relay and the distance medley relay this weekend.
