Scouting the Explorers
The Explorers are in search of their fourth straight win on Wednesday night to wrap up nonconference play. They have won three in a row dating back to March 7, with a 17-2 win over Kennesaw State. They followed up with a 19-4 win over Delaware State and most recently a 15-5 win over Sacred Heart. They have defeated their previous three opponents by an average margin of 13.3 goals per game.

Caitlyn Brostrand posted five points on four goals and an assist in the win over Sacred Heart, helping propel the Explorers with a nine-goal second-half run to break open a 4-3 game at the half. Katelyn Fay also drained four goals to lead the Explorers last Saturday. Anastasia Fries earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week honors after shutting down SHU's top scorer, and recording two draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls while committing no turnovers.

Four Explorers have hit the 10-point mark for the season with four more with nine points apiece. Allee Ilgenfritz is leading the attack with a team-high 19 points on 13 goals and team-high-tying six assists. Though she was held to zero goals against Sacred Heart, she exploded with a career-high four assists in that contest.

Fay is second on the squad point-wise with 17 on a team-high 14 goals and three assists. She boasts a .519 shot percentage, as she has converted 14 of her 27 attempted shots into goals. Brostrand is up to 15 points on 10 goals and five assists. Alanna Diffendal rounds out the top four scorers with 11 points on five goals and a team-high-tying six assists.

Claire Andrews, Erin McCabe, Kelly Furman and Brittany Edwards each have nine points, making the Explorers a well-rounded offense.

Defensively, Kerry Newby leads all field players with nine caused turnovers. Fries is up to seven on the season and Brostrand has recorded six. Sophomore keeper Gabby Antonelli ties for team-high honors with nine caused turnovers. Antonelli also leads the team with 19 ground balls, while Brostrand has picked up 14 to lead all field players. McCabe has dominated on the draw control, recording 19 controls to almost double anyone else on the team.

Antonelli is tied for eighth nationally and is second in the Atlantic 10 with a .500 save percentage. She is also second in the A-10 after lowering her goals against average to 9.59. Lucy Loughlin has now seen over 61 minutes of action; the rookie is sporting a .450 save percentage and 10.67 GAA.

As a team, the Explorers average 11.57 goals per game and limit opponents to 9.86. They have also dominated the caused turnover stat, causing 66 this season while opponents have only caused 45.

Scouting the Dragons
The Dragons have struggled through their nonconference schedule, as they are out to just a 2-7 record. That record, however, is a bit deceptive as they have played three ranked teams (No. 11 Princeton, No. 17 Stony Brook, No. 11 Penn State) as well as perennial A-10 leader Massachusetts (receiving votes in latest poll). They held Princeton and Stony Brook to just eight goals and UMass to nine goals.

As a team, Drexel averages just 5.89 goals per game but also limits opponents to single digits with 9.00 goals per game.

Lacey Aghazarian is the top point-getter with 12 points, all on goals. Milan White has 11 points on 10 goals and one assist, and Emily Duffey had 11 points on six goals and a team-high five assists. Devin Nihill rounds out the top four with nine points on six goals and three assists.

Teresha Bradley has handled the majority of goalkeeping duties, recording an 8.97 goals against average and .472 save percentage.
