Last Time Vs. Bonnies
The Explorers defeated the Bonnies 13-6 last year in Philly behind hat tricks from Katelyn Fay and Toni Massetti. Caitlyn Brostrand and Erin McCabe also recorded multi-goal games with two scores apiece, and the team doubled up on the Bonnies in shot attempts (34-17).

Last Time Vs. Dukes
The Explorers edged the Dukes 10-9 last year on a shorthanded goal from Massetti with just 1:22 remaining in regulation to upset the then-league-leading Dukes. Massetti, Brostrand and Allee Ilgenfritz led the Explorer attack with two goals each, and four other Explorers notched a goal apiece. Goalie Gabby Antonelli had a spectacular game with a career-high 17 saves to help the squad overcome a 33-16 shot disadvantage.

Scouting the Explorers
The Explorers have split their first two A-10 games of the season, defeating George Washington 10-8 in the opener and falling 12-9 at George Mason last weekend.

Fay and Ilgenfritz are tied atop the Atlantic 10 by averaging three goals per game in league play so far. Ilgenfritz scored all six of her goals in the win over GW, and Fay drained four against Mason along with two against GW. The two are neck-and-neck atop the team scoring list with Ilgenfritz up to 28 points on 21 goals and a team-high seven assists, and Fay up to 27 points on a team-high 23 goals and four assists. Brostrand rounds out the top three with 21 points on 15 goals and six assists. Fifteen other Explorers have scored at least one goal this season and 16 have at least one point.

Defensively, Kerry Newby is up to a team-high 12 caused turnovers along with nine draw controls and seven ground balls. Antonelli is second with 11 caused turnovers and leads all players with 24 ground ball pickups. McCabe has been anchoring the midfield with a team-high 21 draw controls, and Brostrand has controlled 12 draws along with leading all field players with 18 ground balls.

Antonelli ranks third in the A-10 and 26th nationally with a .467 save percentage. The sophomore is currently sporting a 9.87 goals against average.

Scouting the Bonnies
The Bonnies are looking to snap a five-game skid and pick up their first league win of the season. The young squad has just five upperclassmen on the 18-woman roster.

The Bonnies are coming off of an 18-13 nonconference loss to nearby Binghamton in midweek action. They topped St. Francis (Pa.) 13-9 earlier this season.

The Bonnies have a dangerous quartet of scorers, however. Junior Mikayla Place leads the team in both goals (20) and assists (17) for a team-high 37 points. Sophomore Mary Maestri is up to 28 points on 18 goals and 10 assists. Junior LeighAnn Stauffer is also over the 20-point mark with 24 on 19 goals and five assists, and also leads the team defensively with 15 caused turnovers. Senior Kaitlin Jennings rounds out the top four with 22 points on 17 goals and five assists.

Morgan Conroy has handled the majority of goalkeeping duties, and is recording a 15.90 GAA and .441 save percentage.

Scouting the Dukes
The Dukes are fresh off of an 11-10 win over Michigan on Sunday, as Kaelin Shaw netted the game-winner with 4:47 remaining in regulation. They split their first two Atlantic 10 games, falling to UMass 10-2 in the opener before defeating St. Bonaventure 19-11. The Dukes will face Saint Joseph's on Friday afternoon before Sunday's meeting with the Explorers.

Shaw leads the Dukes with 28 points on 19 goals and nine assists. A pair of Dukes - Clare Hurley and Jill Vacanti - are up to 20 points each. Lib Lowry has 16 points on six goals and a team-best 10 assists, and Amanda Kidder rounds out the top five with 15 points on 10 goals and five assists. Kidder also leads defensively with a team-high 20 caused turnovers.

Jenna Bishop has played the majority of time in goal, and sports a .470 save percentage and 10.23 GAA.

The Explorers return home next weekend for two games, facing Davidson on Friday (4/17) at 7 p.m. and UMass on Sunday (4/19) at 11 a.m.
