PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle women's track and field team heads to George Mason this weekend for the 2015 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Explorers have 13 athletes entered in nine different events as well as one relay team entered over the course of the two day competition.

Day one will see the Explorers compete in six different events beginning with the women's long jump with sophomore
Amber Jackson entered in the field of 19. Jackson is seeded eighth in the event with a season long jump of 5.28m coming at the Lehigh Games last weekend.

Freshman
Amber Jenkins will be the next to compete as she enters the 100 meter dash trials along with 18 competitors. Jenkins owns a fast 100 meter time of 13.05 which she ran at the Colonial Relays in early April.

Three women are entered in the 800 meter trials on Saturday afternoon. Senior
Cayleigh Solano and juniors
Shannon Dwyer and
Kate Conville will run in the 34 women field. Solano is seeded seventh in the event and has the fastest time of the group this spring with a 2:14.70 at the Mason Spring Invitational. Dwyer owns a fast time of 2:15.52 which she also ran at the Mason Spring Invitational. Conville ran a season best of 2:16.72 at the Colonial Relays.

Jenkins will return later on Saturday afternoon to run in the 200 meter dash in the field of 24. Jenkins owns a fast 200 meter time of 26.60 which she ran at the Lehigh Games last weekend.

Senior
Courtney Cramer will be in the 15 women field for the 3000 meter steeplechase. Cramer ran a 11:59.50 at the Rider Invitational for her fast time in the event this outdoor season.

Saturday night is wrapped up by the 10,000 meter run which La Salle will enter three competitors in. Junior
Molly Mickle, sophomore
Olivia Boyer, and senior
Taylor Hackett will be in the 17 women field for the Explorers. Mickle returns after running in the event at last year's A-10 Championships. Boyer has yet to run the event in college, but is coming off a 5:00.49 time in the 1500 meters at the Widener Invitational. Hackett will run in the event after competing in the 1500 meters at the Atlantic 10 Championships a year ago where she finished in eighth place and earned one team point for the Explorers.

La Salle is slated to compete in at least three events on Sunday and could qualify runners for three more finals based on their preliminary finishes from Saturday. Jackson will again start off the day for the Explorers competing in the triple jump in a field of 16. She had a distance of 10.85m at the Rider Invitational for her best distance of the outdoor season.

The track events kick off with the women's 1500 meters where La Salle will enter two freshmen.
Morgan Szekely and
Kaitlin Poiesz will be in the 25 women field for the Explores. Szekely is seeded first with a 2:23.63 which she ran at the Mason Spring Invitational. Poiesz owns a fast time of 4:39.24 which she ran at the Colonial Relays.

Three women will enter the 5,000 meter run field of 27. Freshmen
Megan Connell,
Michelle Myland and
Morgan Szekely are in the field for the Explorers. Connell is seeded fifth thanks to her 16:56.85 time at the Larry Ellis Invitational earlier this season. Myland owns a 17:51.57 from the Colonial Relays while this will be Szekely's first college try at the distance.

The final event La Salle will be in is the 4x800 meter relay. La Salle has a fast time of 8:55.13 run at the Penn Relays by freshman
