PHILADELPHIA - La Salle senior Caitlyn Brostrand will have one more opportunity to suit up in her collegiate lacrosse career as the highly decorated player has been selected for the 2015 IWLCA Division I North/South All-Star Game.

The game pits the best of the Class of 2015 in a friendly competition at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa., on June 6.

Brostrand recently finished up an illustrious four-year career as an Explorer, finishing third in program history in both career points (168) and goals (145) and seventh in career draw controls (76). She was a three-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection on the heels of an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie nod. She also earned Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference for three straight years. Brostrand was second on the team this season with 43 points on 33 goals and a career-high-tying 10 assists. She led the Explorers in either goals or points in her first three seasons before being moved to a bit more defensive role as a senior. In switching roles, she doubled her previous career high with 14 caused turnovers and also recorded a career-high 25 ground ball pickups.

Brostrand will graduate on Sunday with a degree in Nursing.
