PRINCETON, N.J.- Junior Molly Mickle and freshman Megan Connell both competed in the ECAC women's 5000 meter run to open up La Salle track and field's participation in the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday afternoon.
 
Mickle finished in 16^th place thanks to a time of 17:14.11 while Connell was two spots behind her with a time of 17:17.77.
 
La Salle continues with their action tomorrow as they have men in the 1500 meter run prelims, 100 meter dash prelims, 200 meter dash prelims, 800 meter dash prelims and the men's 4x800 meter relay prelims.
