Candace Taglianetti Bossell has announced the recruiting class for the class of 2020 on Friday. The 12 member class hails from seven different state including: New Jersey, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Michigan, Georgia, and five Pennsylvanian natives.

The class features ten players who earned All-League honors in their respective leagues, a pair of honorable mention All-Americans as well as All-State and Academic All-American honorees. The future Explorers will arrive on campus and join the lacrosse team in the fall of 2016 and begin play the following spring. The class is listed below with a brief biography of each of the 12 women class.

Gabby Burton (Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills Regional) is a two time All-Conference Delaware Division midfielder who uses her speed to standout in the transition. In her two varsity seasons she has totaled 69 points on 48 goals and 21 assists and snatched up 97 draw controls while picking up 31 ground balls. Burton plays her club lacrosse for Ultimate NJ 2016 under Michele DeJuliis.

Lynne Frankel (Parker, Colorado/Mullen) is a three year varsity goalie for Mullen Mustangs in Colorado. She plays club lacrosse for Team 180 and has participate in all the IWLCA tournaments for the past two recruiting seasons.

Brooke Malamphy (Crofton, Md./Arundel) is a lefty attacker from Arundel High School who was named a Brine All-American and an All-County Performer by the Capital Gazette. Malamphy missed her sophomore season due to an ACL tear prior to the season. Brooke plays her club season for Maryland United under coaches MC Rossing and Bev Altig.

Kylie Marhold (Stewartsville, N.J./ Phillipsburg) is a true two-way midfielder with a decorated high school career. Marhold is a two-time Express Times All-Area Honoree and a Skyland Raritian Division First Team player. In her three varsity seasons, Marhold has scored 67 goals and 42 assists. She also played four years of field hockey and plays her club lacrosse for DEWLAX under Coach Giovanna Buono.

Jessica Mellon (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) is a two time All-Main Line selection and an Honorable Mention All-Delco Player at midfield for the Fords. She has tallied 90 goals in her career under the same Coach La Salle head Coach Taglianetti Bossell played for, Nancy McGoldrick. Mellon has not only excelled on the field, but she was also named an Academic All-American in 2014. Mellon plays for one of the top club teams in the nation, Phantastix, under Coach Sue Frazier and Lorraine Beers.
Mikaela "Mikki" Raymond (Abington, Pa./Abington Senior High) was the Suburban One League "Rookie of the Year" in 2013 and has since gone on to be a two time Suburban One All-League selection at
midfield. Raymond also club for Phantastix with Jess Mellon and Emily Talluto.

Kaitlyn Re (Massapequa, N.Y./Plainedge) is a Long Island native and All-Conference 2 goalie who was voted "Best Defender" and earned the "Red Devil" award as voted by her teammates and coaching staff.  Re tallied 64 saves during her sophomore campaign and was named to Team Nassau 2016 for the Long Island Girls Lacrosse All-American Game. She plays club lacrosse for one of the top clubs nationally, the Long Island Yellow Jackets.

Gina Salemi (Novi, Michigan/ Novi High School) is an attacker who already has international playing experience under her belt. Gina was on the U-19 Israeli National Team that competed in the 2015 World Cup. Salemi earned honorable mention All-State and is a three time First Team All-Area performer and First Team All-Conference honoree. In her three varsity seasons Salemi has scored 162 goals and assisted on 70 others. Salemi plays club lacrosse for the Detroit Coyotes under Coach Sherry Pifer-Elliott.

Abby Squires (Lawrenceville, Ga./Collins Hill) is a U.S. Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American who plays both midfield and attack and has recorded big numbers in the scoring column. Squires has impressive numbers scoring 274 goals in her three seasons on varsity.  Squires was named girls lacrosse Player of the Year by the Gwinnett Daily Post after an impressive junior campaign when she scored 116 goals and assisted on 19 others while grabbed 41 ground balls.  She plays club lacrosse for LB3 under Coach Karen Healey.
Emily Talluto (West Chester, Pa./ The Shipley School) is a defender from nearby West Chester. Talluto has played three seasons on varsity under Katelyn Taylor at The Shipley School starting 37 games with 27 goals, 10 assists and 22 ground balls during her career. She was named to the Max-Exposure All-Star Team as a sophomore in 2014 and to Honorable Mention Friends League as a junior in 2015. Talluto plays her club lacrosse for Phantastix under coach Sue Frazier.

Sadye Walker (Lancaster, Pa./Mannheim Township) is a midfield attacker on a Manheim Township team that has won the league and district championship all three years Walker and fellow recruit Hannah Wertz have been on the team. During her junior season at Manheim earned a trip to the PIAA State Quarterfinals, Walker was named to the Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star Second Team. Walker plays club lacrosse for Xtreme Lacrosse Club.

Hannah Wertz (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township) is a starting midfielder on the same outstanding high school and club team as recruit Sadye Walker. Wertz's junior season she was named a First Team All-Star for the Lancaster-Lebanon League as well as a PennLive Girl's Lacrosse All-Star Honoree. Wertz is a true two way middie who has scored 23 goals and tallied seven assists during her junior campaign. Hannah plays club lacrosse for Xtreme coached by her high school coach, Mark Pinkerton
