NEW HAVEN, CT.- Sophomore
Amber Jenkins won the 400 meters on day two of the Yale Giegengack Invitational on Saturday.

Jenkins ran a 59.47 second time to top the nine women field by .36 seconds. The time was also a personal best for Jenkins.

Freshman
Ariel Mitchell ran the second best time in the 60 meter dash prelims thanks to a 7.83 second time in the 15 women field. She also won her heat by a narrow margin of .02 seconds. The time was the best on the season for Mitchell who went on to finish eighth overall due to a false start in the finals. Junior
Mone't Gist crossed in eighth place with a time of 8.12 seconds.

Senior
Kate Conville crossed in second place in the 1000 meter run thanks to a career-best time of 2:59.23 in the field of 14. She was able to shave over six second off her previous best in the event. Freshman
Emily Ward finished in ninth place thanks to a time of 3:06.90.

Sophomore
Ifetayo Tyler finished in third place in the 800 meter run field of 18. Tyler crossed with a time of 2:16.25, just 1.56 seconds behind the winner. Junior

Alex Guntle (17
th place, 2:49.88) also competed in the race.

Senior
Rebecca Scardelletti crossed in fourth place in the women's mile field of 17 thanks to a time of 5:03.47. The time was a career best for Scardelletti, taking 7.36 seconds off her previous best at La Salle. Junior
Madison Elliott also ran the mile, crossing in 17
th place with a time of 5:58.08.

Gist returned for the 60 meter hurdles and finished fifth in the preliminary round to qualify for the finals. She crossed in 9.26 seconds in the prelims. In the finals Gist ran a 9.40 second time for sixth place overall. Freshman
Krista Forbes also ran, finishing in 9.83 seconds for 12
th place.

Amber Jackson and freshman
Kaleah Miller finished in fourth and fifth in the 13 women triple jump field. Jackson jumped a 10.85m and Miller was close behind with a 10.84m distance.

Kaylie McNally ran in the 3000 meters crossing in ninth place with a time of 10:48.08.Â
