PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle lacrosse team returns to McCarthy Stadium for the first time this season as it welcomes Robert Morris for a 3 p.m. matchup on Tuesday.

They Explorers have faced NEC opponents 22 previous times and own a 16-6 record in those contests. La Salle also as three more games against NEC opponents this season with trips to Sacred Heart and Central Connecticut State as well as a home matchup with LIU Brooklyn still on the calendar.
Senior Allie Burnett leads the Atlantic 10 in caused turnovers as she is averaging 2.5 per contest. She also has three points to her name with a goal and two assists at Delaware. Senior Abby O'Donnell ranks third in the conference in ground balls averaging 3.0 per contest. The senior also has one draw control and one caused turnover on the season. Senior
Katelyn Fay leads the team with four goals on the season. She is also tied for the team lead with four points on the year with junior

Sophomore
Lucy Loughlin has played every minute in the cage for the Explorers with 12 saves through two contests.
Scouting the ColonialsThis is the first ever matchup between the two programs. For the colonials this will be the second ever trip to Philadelphia after a 10-6 loss at St. Joseph's in 2007. Robert Morris have faced off against Atlantic 10 opponents 24 previous times with a 5-19 record in those contests. They have had trouble on the road against A-10 foe with a 1-12 record in 13 road games.
Robert Morris is coming off its first win of the season, a 17-10 victory over St. Bonaventure. The Colonials pulled away early, outscoring the Bonnies 9-3 in the first half to fuel their way to victory. The Bonnies were the second A-10 foe that the Colonials had faced thus far in the season, having dropped a 14-7 game to Duquesne to open the season. Robert Morris also has losses to Niagara (13-7), and at Cincinnati (8-7) this season.
Three Colonials defense have been active early in the season as they lead the Northeast Conference by averaging 10.33 caused turnovers per game. Jessica Karwacki has been efficient at draws so far on the season as she leads the conference with 15 draw controls, averaging 5.0 per contest. She also leads the team and is tenth in NEC averaging 4.0 shots per contest.
Brittany Byerly leads the team with nine goals and 12 points on the season. Dana Davis has also been a constant threat on offense with six goals and a team-high four assists on the year. Emily Jamison has added six goals of her own and a .600 shooting percentage through four games. Sara Arnold has played every minute in goal for the Colonials. She has 17 saves on the year with a .274 save percentage on the 82 shots she has faced.
