PHILADELPHIA –
Matt Robinson has been named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week following an outstanding offensive stretch for the Explorers.
Robinson, a redshirt junior, assisted on five goals last week to help the Explorers register two wins in as many games. The team, which is now 4-1 on the season, is off to its best start in recent history.
The Lansdale, Pa. native notched four assists in a dramatic overtime win at Saint Peter's. The four helpers are tied for the most in a single game in the nation this season. Robinson tacked on another assist in the following game against Manhattan.
Robinson now leads the Atlantic 10 in both assists and points.
He was also named the Soccer Six Offensive Player of the Week and Explorer of the Week.
Men's soccer returns to action with a road match at James Madison on Tuesday at 7:00. Live video and stats will be available.
