PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The La Salle volleyball team will take a cross-state road trip to Duquesne for a Saturday afternoon matchup on Oct. 21 at 4:00 PM. Fresh off a 3-2 thriller of a win against Rhode Island, the Explorers will seek to capture their third A-10 contest of the year against the Dukes.

Scouting the Explorers…

- La Salle split last weekend 1-1, after falling in straight sets to Fordham but topping Rhode Island in an exciting five set matchup for the team's second A-10 win.
- Devin Corah sits tenth in the A-10 with an average of 2.95 kills per set. The sophomore has collected 242 total on the season. After hitting a team-high 26 kills against the Rams, Bryanna Davis has recorded 241 kills on the season to rank second of active players for La Salle. 
- Jensen Sharrits has recorded 423 digs across her 90 set appearances, ranking second in the A-10 with an average of 4.70 per set.
- Setter Kathryn Wood sits at third in conference statistics with 854 digs, with an average of 9.49 per set.

Scouting the Dukes…

- The Dukes have splits A-10 play 4-4 after falling to Rhode Island this past weekend in five sets but besting Fordham in a 3-0 score.
- The attack is paced by Maria Mosbacher, who ranks sixth in conference stats with an average of 3.16 kills per set. The rookie has tallied 250 in her 79 appearances.
- Dani Suiter leads the conference in assists, chipping in a total of 832 to average 10.27 per set.
- Camryn Vecera anchors the Duquesne defense, totaling 372 digs to rank fourth in conference overall statistics.
