PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's soccer team will host St. Bonaventure this coming Saturday night at McCarthy Stadium. Prior to the match, the Explorers' seniors will be honored for their efforts and accomplishments during their time at La Salle. As both teams are neck and neck in the race for the Atlantic 10 tournament, the match will be very significant. The Bonnies and Explorers are both currently 2-4 in A-10 play this season with just two games remaining. La Salle hopes it can keep its momentum going after a 1-0 win over Drexel in a non-league game on Tuesday.
Pat McCarthy scored in the game's 87th minute to put La Salle on top. With the win, the Explorers were named co-champions of Soccer Six.
