Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle has been off this week during finals, and will look to bounce back from a loss at North Texas on Saturday.
-
Amy Griffin was two rebounds shy of her first double-double of the season at North Texas, going for 12 points and eight rebounds against the Mean Green.
-La Salle is 3-0 all-time against Delaware State in a series that began in 1997. The Explorers defeated the Hornets 78-38 at Tom Gola Arena last December.
-The Explorers had three scorers in double figures in the win over DSU last season, paced by 22 points from Griffin.
Adreana Miller added 17 while
Shalina Miller added a then career-high 14 points off the bench.
Scouting the Hornets
-DSU has lost three straight, most recently suffering an 84-49 loss at Delaware on Sunday. The Hornets defeated Longwood on November 29 at home for their only win of the season.
-NaJai Pollard leads the team in scoring with 17.6 points per game, which is second in the MEAC. The junior also leads DSU in rebounds with 6.6 per game.
-The Hornets are allowing 84.4 points per game, and have an average scoring margin of -27.8. Both figures are last in the MEAC.
