Lacrosse Travels to St. Bonaventure for Final Regular Season Matchup

PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle lacrosse team will head to Olean, N.Y. on Friday, April 28 to play a the final regular game of the season against St. Bonaventure. The Explorers will draw against the Bonnies at 4:00PM.

La Salle leads the all-time series by a tight 9-8 margin, with the two teams' first meeting in 2000. The Explorers have claimed the last five meetings, most recently winning in a lopsided 14-4 contest a season ago.
 
Scouting the Explorers…
- With the final game of the season at hand, the Explorers are 7-9 on the season and 3-4 in Atlantic 10 play under head coach Candace Taglianetti. The Explorers split a pair of A-10 games last weekend, topping Duquesne in a 21-11 score, but falling to Davidson 17-6.
- Against Duquesne, three Explorers netted five goals apiece to help La Salle to the victory. Allee Ilgenfritz, Rachel Ceplo and Toni Massett combined for 15 of La Salle's 21 goals.
- Ilgenfritz sits at third in the A-10 overall stats with an average of 2.94 goals per contest. The midfielder leads La Salle with 47 goals across her 16 game appearances.
- Massetti ranks fifth in A-10 statistics at an average of 2.69 goals per game. The attack has recorded a total 43 goals on the season.
- With three game-winning goals this season, Courtney Woolford sits at the top of A-10 statistics to average .21 per season in the 14 game she has played.
 
Scouting the Bonnies…
- The Bonnies have dropped four of their last five contests, with the team's only A-10 win coming from a 13-11 victory at Duquesne on April 13.
- SBU goalkeeper Megan Conroy leads the conference in saver per game. She has tallied 158 saves to average 11.29 per contest. She sits at seventh in A-10 overall statistics with a .495 save percentage.
- Conroy also sits at second in the A-10 in groundballs per game, picking up 43 this season to average 3.07 per game.
