PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Baseball second baseman Kevin McGowan was named the Big 5 Player of the Week for the second time in as many weeks earlier today. The Big 5 weekly awards are voted on by the sports information correspondents in each of the five participating city schools.

McGowan batted .615 in three games last week. He had eight total hits in 13 at bats with a multi-hit game in each contest.

The sophomore also had one run and one RBI.
