PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2017-2018 season, which opens on the road against Lafayette on November 10.
 
The tilt at Lafayette is the first of three road games for the Explorers to start the season. La Salle will play at American on November 13 before a November 16 matchup at Drexel.
 
The Explorers host Temple on November 22 for their home opener before a Thanksgiving Tournament at Lehigh November 25-26. La Salle resumes Big 5 action on November 29 as they host the Penn Quakers at Tom Gola Arena.
 
La Salle will play the University of Wisconsin on December 2 for the first time in program history before returning home to host Rider on December 6. The Blue and Gold then hit the road to play North Texas on December 9 and Delaware State on December 17.
 
The Explorers host Big 5 rival Villanova (December 20) before the non-conference schedule concludes on January 10 at Harvard. The meeting with the Crimson is just the second between the programs since 1999.
 
During Atlantic 10 play, La Salle will take on George Mason, Richmond and Saint Joseph's twice, once at home and once on the road.
 
The Explorers also host Davidson, Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis, and VCU while visiting Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
