ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The La Salle University women's golf team completed the final round of the Navy Invitational on Sunday. The Explorers concluded competition in 10th place, bettering both The Citadel and Delaware State.
Individually, redshirt freshman
Marybelle Daclan was the top finisher for La Salle, concluding the three-round tournament at 248 to tie for 48th. Freshman
Franca Hurtado closed seven shots behind her teammate at 255, just ahead of sophomore
Rebecca Smith's 259.

Mariam Colon and freshman
Gina Lizzo also competed in the event for the Explorers, who will continue their fall season with the Hartford Hawk Invitational beginning on Sept. 30.
Richmond won the team portion of the tournament by 29 strokes over Navy. The Spiders also boasted the individual champion, Sophie DiPetrillo, who won by two strokes over Navy's Christine McDonnell.
