PHILADELPHIA - Men's soccer goalkeeper Mark Tobin was named Soccer Six co-Defensive Player of the Week as announced on Monday morning. The Soccer Six awards announced following nominations by the six participating Philadelphia area schools' sports information offices.

Tobin, a sophomore, posted seven saves in a shutout victory over Saint Peter's on Wednesday. He followed up with three saves in a 2-1 win over Lafayette on Saturday. He's the first Explorer to be honored with a Soccer Six award this season.

Tobin and the Explorers will host Penn at McCarthy Stadium on Saturday at 7:00 PM.
