PRINCETON, N.J. - Freshman Ibrahim Kedir and sophomore Ryan James both turned in sub-25 minute times for the La Salle University men's cross country team over the 8k course at the Princeton Invitational on Friday. La Salle place 11th out of 20 teams.

WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Kedir led the way with a 27th place showing out of 219 runners. The rookie crossed in 24:46.4 and posted a 4:59 mile.
• James was just eight spots back in 35th, finishing the race with a time of 24:54.9.
• Junior Nathan Gillis was 61st, 57th among qualifying teams, posting a mark of 25:15.3.
• Redshirt junior Anthony Hawthorne clocked in at 25:46.1, while Nick Smart crossed the finish line in 26:01.9.

UP NEXT

• La Salle will now turn its attention to the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, which will take place Saturday, Oct. 27, in Richmond, Va.
