PHILADELPHIA - La Salle University freshman
Willow Oh was named Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the league on Monday. Oh earns weekly honors after registering a pair of goals in the Explorers' 4-1 win over Richmond on Oct. 12.
The Perry Hall, Md. native registered goals in the 18th and 30th minutes, with the latter accounting for the game-winning score. Both tallies came off assists from sister,
Logan Oh, and the multi-goal game was the first of
Willow Oh's career. For the season, the younger Oh sister has three goals and six points.
La Salle (6-8, 1-4 A-10) returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 21 with a home contest against Davidson. Senior Day festivities will be held prior to the match, honoring three seniors -
Logan Oh,
Mackenzie Karcher and
Megan Kida.
