PHILADELPHIA - La Salle University men's soccer freshman Fridtjof Andberg was named Philadelphia Soccer Six Rookie of the Week on Monday following his performance at Saint Louis on Saturday.

Andberg registered both his first collegiate goal and assist in the Explorers' Atlantic 10 Conference match against the Billikens. The rookie recorded his first career assist on the opening goal in the 10th minute, as the Explorers took an early 1-0 lead. He then gave La Salle a 2-1 advantage in the 23rd minute with his first goal as an Explorer.

The Lillehammer, Norway, product has played significant minutes in all 11 matches this season and has made 10 starts on defense. He has nine shots to his credit, with four on goal.

Andberg and the Explorers will return home on Wednesday to take on George Mason.
