Grace Mancini of the La Salle University women's cross country team will hit the ground running among the best in the country on Saturday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wis.

- The women's championship 6K race will begin at 11:45 a.m. ET.

- The 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championships will take place at the University of Wisconsin's Thomas Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wis.
HOW SHE GOT HERE
- Mancini qualified for nationals after placing second out of 205 runners at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional with a time of 21:09 over the 6K course at Penn State University, earning all-region status along the way.
- Prior to that, she collected all-conference honors with a sixth place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships, running in 17:35.6 over the 5K course.
- Over the course of the season, Mancini was La Salle's top finisher in each race she competed in, including a 12th place finish out of 222 runners at the Princeton Invitational.
