Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle fell victim to a late rally by the Spiders in a 60-57 loss to Richmond at home on Saturday. Richmond scored eight unanswered points midway through the 4th quarter, eventually taking a 58-53 lead with 2:09 to play. The Explorers then cut the deficit to one point but couldn't find the equalizer.

Shaquana Edwards earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season, it was announced Monday. The redshirt freshman averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds over two games last week, including 18 points and a game-high seven assists in a midweek victory over Saint Louis.

Sofilia Ngwafang was held scoreless in the first half against Richmond on Saturday before scoring 10 points in the 3
rd quarter as the Explorers retook the lead. The sophomore finished with 12 points in 13 minutes off the bench.

Jasmine White played a season-high 19 minutes, tallying career-highs with five points and six rebounds (game-high).
-La Salle is enjoying their most consistent shootings stretch of the season, having shot over 40.0 percent from the field in four straight games for the first time this season: at George Washington (43.6%), at Massachusetts (40.7%), Saint Louis (45.3%) and Richmond (44.0%).
Scouting the Rams
-Fordham played just one game last week, defeating Davidson 58-45 on the road on Saturday.
-Fordham's G'mrice Davis, the nation's returning leading rebounder, is second in the NCAA with 13.7 rebounds per game this season. The senior is second on the team in scoring with 16.7 points per game.
-Freshman sensation Bre Cavanaugh is leading the Rams in scoring this season with 17. 2 points per game, which is fourth in the A-10.
-The Rams currently rank 21
st in the NCAA in scoring defense with 55.8 points allowed per game this season. The Rams have allowed just 10 60-point games this season.
-The Rams currently rank 69
th in NCAA RPI, which is third in the Atlantic 10 behind Dayton (39th) and Duquesne (55th).
