PHILADELPHIA - La Salle women's lacrosse (2-4) will travel to Manhattan on Friday for a non-conference game at 2:00 PM.
The Explorers recently fell to a tough Temple team, on the road, in an 8-4 loss. In the game, freshman
Bridget Ruskey continued a hot start to her career, scoring a hat trick and recording an assist.
Lynne Frankel continued to play well. The netminder allowed just 11 goals to Vanderbilt's national top-scoring offense the week prior and followed it up with 12 saves against the Owls.
The Jaspers (3-3) won't be an easy opponent by any measure. They've won two in a row, including a 12-3 win over Wofford on Saturday.
Manhattan has three players who have scored double-digit goals this season, led by Sarah Lang and her 18 scores.
Molly Fitzpatrick is third on the team in scoring (11) and first in assists (10).
