AMBLER, Pa. - The La Salle University women's golf team hosted Niagara and Delaware State in a tri-match on Saturday afternoon. The three teams played 18 holes at Talamore Country Club, with Delaware State posting a 363 to earn victories over the Purple Eagles and Explorers.

Mariam Colon led the way for La Salle, as each shot 91 to finish in a tie for third individually. Freshmen
Franca Hurtado and
Gina Lizzo were the other two Explorers to complete rounds on the day, as sophomore
Mary Eyde withdrew and classmate
Rebecca Smith did not start due to illness.
Panisara Chimsuti from Delaware State carded an 81, the best round of any competitor by seven shots.
La Salle will round out the 2018 spring season at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on April 20-22.Â
