PHILADELPHIA - The Atlantic 10 Conference unveiled the schedule pairings for the 2018-19 women's basketball season recently. The league's 14 members will once again play a 16-game conference schedule, which allows teams to face every opponent once and three teams twice. The complete 2018-19 conference schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date.

First-year head coach Mountain MacGillivray and the Explorers will play George Mason, Richmond and Big 5 rival Saint Joseph's in home-and-home series. La Salle will host Duquesne, Fordham, reigning tournament champion George Washington, Massachusetts and Rhode Island at Tom Gola Arena, and will travel to Davidson, Dayton, St. Bonaventure, Saint Louis and VCU for road matchups.

During the 2017-18 season, the Atlantic 10 Conference had seven women's basketball teams qualify for postseason play. It was also the 15th time in the last 16 years that the A-10 has had multiple teams earn bids to the NCAA Tournament. George Washington defeated Saint Joseph's in the finals of the league tournament at the Richmond Coliseum, earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
