PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - La Salle head women's basketball coach Mountain MacGillivray has announced his team's non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season on Friday. The Explorers will play a total of 14 games outside of the Atlantic 10, including four contests at Tom Gola Arena at TruMark Financial Center.

La Salle opens the MacGillivray era with a home matchup with Howard on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The Explorers are 6-1 all-time against the Bison, with the last meeting coming in 2015.

From there, four straight road games will commence with a contest at Robert Morris on Sunday, Nov. 11. Also included in the stretch are trips to Harvard (Nov. 14), Towson (Nov. 17) and a local game at Big 5 foe Villanova on Nov. 20.

The Explorers will host Drexel at Gola Arena on Nov. 28, before a trip west to take on Pac-12 member Oregon State on the first of December. The Beavers went 26-8 last season and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Louisville.

Another Big 5 matchup with Penn will take place at the Palestra on Dec. 5, after which the Explorers will continue their non-league slate with back-to-back home games against Norfolk State (Dec. 9) and St. John's (Dec. 15). The Red Storm won 19 games a season ago and made an appearance in the WNIT Quarterfinals.

Providence will host the Friar Holiday Classic on Dec. 19-21, which will feature La Salle, Pepperdine, Northern Kentucky and the host Friars. The Explorers will play three games during the event before rounding out their non-conference schedule at Temple on Dec. 30.
