PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team (7-5-1, 3-2 A-10) travels to take on Saint Louis (10-3-1, 5-0 A-10) on Sunday a 2 p.m. EST. The game is set to stream on ESPN+.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle dropped its most recent game at Saint Joseph's after riding a three-game winning streak with victories over Richmond, Duquesne, and VCU.
- Offensively, the Explorers are led by redshirt-senior Maci Bower and junior Amirah Louketis. Both have 11 points on the campaign with give goals and an assist each.
- Rookie Leah Giles leads the Blue & Gold with four assists this season.
- Junior keeper Claudia Jenkins has played every minute in net this year. She has 1.26 goals against average with 65 saves and a .793 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE BILLIKENS:
- Saint Louis is riding a six-game win streak and hasn't lost a game since September 8.
- Hannah Friedrich is pacing the Billikens with 15 points on seven goals and an assist.
- Mary Niehaus has seen the bulk of minutes in goal this season. Niehaus has a 0.32 goals against average with 32 saves and a .889 save percentage.
