PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team (7-6-1, 3-3 A-10) heads to George Mason (3-9-1, 1-5 A-10) on Thursday and hosts Davidson (8-5-2, 3-2-1 A-10) on Sunday. Thursday's game is slated for 7 p.m. from Fairfax, Va. and Sunday's game will kickoff at 1 p.m. Both will be streamed on ESPN+.
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:
- La Salle is coming off a 4-1 loss to conference leading Saint Louis this past Sunday.
- The Explorers hold a 4-2 record at McCarthy Stadium this year.
- Redshirt-senior Maci Bower and junior Amirah Louketis are leading the team with 11 points apiece on five goals and an assist.
- Rookie Leah Giles currently sits atop the team in assists with four.
- Junior keeper Claudia Jenkins has started all 14 games for the Explorers. She holds a 1.47 goals against average with 75 saves and a .781 save percentage. Jenkins is second in the A-10 and 19th in the nation in saves.
SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS:
- George Mason started out 0-5 in conference play before picking up its first win at Davidson this past Sunday.
- Kayla Hamric and Jisca Adigo are tied with a teaming leading nine points on three goals and three assists.
- Louisa Moser has started the last three games for the Patriots in goal. Moser has a 1.43 goals against average with 12 saves and a .600 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- Davidson has dropped its last two games after a 3-0-1 start to A-10 play. The two losses came at the efforts of George Mason and Dayton.
- Sabine Chandler is the top point scorer for the Wildcats. She has nine points on four goals and an assist.
- Getchen Pearson leads the team with three assists.
- Davidson has used two keepers this season as Mary Grace Bunch and Sarah L'Hommedieu have shared time. Bunch has started five games, while L'Hommedieu has gotten the nod in seven. Bunch has the most recent start in the loss to George Mason.
- Bunch posts a 0.16 goals against average with 17 saves and a .944 save percentage compared to L'Hommedieu's 1.50 goals against average, 36 saves, and .720 save percentage.
