PRINCETON, N.J. – Three Mancini sisters led the way for the La Salle women's cross country team as the Explorers finished 3rd among 20 Division I teams at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. La Salle was second among five Atlantic 10 Conference teams.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Senior Grace Mancini placed fifth out of 207 finishers to lead the Explorers over the 6,170 meters, putting up a time of 21:23.2.
• Sophomore El Mancini placed in the top 10 as well, speeding her way to an eighth place finish with a mark of 21:32.0.
• The third sister to cross the finish line was sophomore Liz Mancini, who finished 17th with a time of 21:46.7.
• Junior Lexi Sciortino ran a quality race as well, finishing in 22:06.9 for 22nd place.
• Meanwhile, junior Allana Powlette finished 59th in 22:52.1, freshmen Jerika Lufrano (22:54.9) and Amy Conboy (23:07.1) were 62nd and 78th, respectively.
• The Explorers were just three points behind A-10 foe George Washington and placed ahead of Duquesne, George Mason and Fordham.

• La Salle will aim to bring home some hardware when it heads to Leesburg, Va., for the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2.
