Not only did senior
Pat McCarthy follow in his father and brother's footsteps as a La Salle men's soccer player, he also became the third member of his family to be named team captain. Taking an inside look at the teams and people that make up La Salle Athletics, our fifth edition of
Inside The L shares the story of how La Salle soccer runs in the McCarthy blood.
Pat's father, John, was a standout player in the 70s and a member of the 1978 NCAA Tournament team, while Pat's brother,
John McCarthy, was one of the best goalkeepers in program history and plays professionally. Now Pat is writing his own story as a senior captain, just like his father and brother.
