PHILADELPHIA - La Salle senior midfielder
Amanda Chapin was recognized by PhilaFieldHockey.com as an Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced on Wednesday.
Chapin scored her fourth goal of the season in a narrow 2-1, overtime loss to Massachusetts on Oct. 25, then followed that up with an assist in a 3-2 win over Lehigh on Senior Day at Hank DeVincent Field on Oct. 27.
The assist gives Chapin 10 on the season, making her just the fourth player in La Salle field hockey history to register double-figure assists in a single year.
La Salle closes out the 2019 season on Thursday, Oct. 31 with a matchup against No. 13 Saint Joseph's at Hank DeVincent Field. Opening pass is set for 3:00 p.m.
