BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Three Explorers finished in the top 100 of the Gold 8K race as the La Salle University men's cross country partook in the highly-competitive Paul Short Run on Saturday.
 
WHERE THEY FINISHED

• Junior Luke Jaciw-Zurakowsky was the top finisher for the Explorers, placing 48th out of 395 finishers in the elite Gold 8K race. He finished in 24:11.6.
• Redshirt senior Nathan Gillis was the next Explorer to cross, placing 79th in the 8K with a time of 24:27.8.
• Sophomore Ibrahim Kedir was the third Explorers to finish in the top 100 of the Gold race, finishing 94th with a mark of 24:33.2.
• Redshirt senior Anthony Hawthorne finished 121st in 24:41.0, while freshman Alex Sandras crossed in 24:58.8 to end up 172nd among the 372 runners.
• The Explorers finished 15th out of 45 squads with 494 points in the team standings.

• La Salle will compete in one more race before the Atlantic 10 Championships, racing at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19.
