BETHLEHEM, Pa. –
Grace Mancini kicked off her senior season with a bang, cruising to victory for the La Salle women's cross country team at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday. The Explorers placed second in the team standings, just one point out of first.
WHERE THEY FINISHED
- Mancini finished more than 35 seconds ahead of the second place finisher, completing the 6K course in 21:21.71. The speedster posted an average mile of 5:43.6.
- Junior Lexi Sciortino was the next Explorer to cross, placing sixth with a time of 22.32.80.
- Sophomore Liz Mancini was right behind in seventh, clocking in at 22:32.89.
- Fellow sophomore El Mancini finished 13th, putting up a mark of 22:56.72 to make it four Explorers in the top 13.
- Juniors Deirdre Gilmore and Allana Powlette wound up 36th and 38th, respectively with times of 24:23.68 and 24:30.34.
