HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Navy struck first during the 29th minute as Kristina Dzhandzhapanyan found the back of the net.
- La Salle responded in the second half when Louketis played a ball from rookies Leah Giles and Danielle Rooney, that she was able to finish on to knot things up at one.
- Seven minutes later at 67:25, Alex Jackson capitalized for Navy to regain the lead on a header inside the box.
- Bower scored the equalizer during the 77th minute on a one-on-one opportunity inside the final 10 yards with an assist from senior Jess Shanahan.
- Less than a minute later, Jackson scored her second of the day as the eventual game-winner.
- Giles had a shot with eight seconds left that clanked off the crossbar.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Junior keeper Claudia Jenkins had two saves in Sunday's game.
- La Salle outshot Navy, 13-8, and had more corner kicks (4-2).
GAME NOTES:
- Rooney's assist was her first point of her career.
- Bower and Louketis are tied for the team lead with four goals apiece.
- Giles is now tied with classmate Kayla Miller-People and Shanahan for a team leading two assists.
