PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team (4-3-1) opens Atlantic 10 play this Sunday when the George Washington Colonials (4-1-2) come to McCarthy Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the game being broadcast on ESPN+.
 
SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS:

• La Salle finished its non-conference slate at 4-3-1 after a tough schedule of games. Most recently, the Explorers defeated Delaware, 3-2, before falling to Navy, 3-2.
• Redshirt-senior Maci Bower currently leads the team with nine points on four goals and one assist. The Millville, Pa. native is currently ninth all-time with 21 goals – three behind her sister Madison Bower '19.
• Junior Amirah Louketis has eight points this season and is tied with Bower for the team lead in goals.
• Senior Jess Shanahan, freshmen Leah Giles and Kayla Miller-People each have two assists apiece.
• Junior Claudia Jenkins has played every minute in net this season. The keeper has 39 saves with a .796 save percentage and a 1.22 goals against average.

SCOUTING THE COLONIALS:

• George Washington is 4-1-2 entering this weekend, after a convincing 4-1 win over UMBC on Thursday.
• Maria Pareja is pacing the team in both points (9) and goals (4). Pareja has three game winners so far this season and has double the amount of goals as the next highest scorer.
• Rachel Sorkenn has a team-high four assists, followed by Sofia Pavon and Sammy Neyman who have two apiece.
• Tamaki Machi is the only keeper to see action for the Colonials. She has 26 saves with a .722 save percentage and a 1.34 goals against average.
