PHILADELPHIA – With the start of the 2022 season around the corner, La Salle women's lacrosse head coach Katie Rhodes Abbott announced the Explorers' 2022 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The 17-game slate includes nine Atlantic 10 clashes and eight non-conference bouts, with nine games in the friendly confines of McCarthy Stadium.
 
The Explorers will start with two games at McCarthy, kicking off their season at home against Iona on Feb. 12 before hosting Mount St. Mary's on Feb. 19. La Salle then heads out for a three game road trip, facing Delaware on Feb. 23, Lafayette on Feb. 26, and Lehigh on March 2.
 
The Explorers return home on March 5 and March 9 for showdowns with Manhattan and Villanova before heading to Siena on March 19 for their final non-conference match.
 
La Salle will then open A-10 conference play with four-consecutive home games, beginning with Richmond on March 25 before closing march against VCU on March 27. Their first of seven April showdowns begins April 1 at home against George Washington before hosting Davidson on April 3.
 
La Salle will end their slate with four of their last five games on the road, starting with St. Bonaventure on April 8 and Duquesne on April 10. After playing their final home game against UMass on April 14, the Explorers end their season with trips to George Mason on April 16 and Saint Joseph's on April 23.
 
The 2022 A-10 women's lacrosse championship will take place from April 28 – May 1 in Amherst, Mass., hosted by the University of Massachusetts.
