STILLWATER, Okla. – La Salle University cross country senior Luke Jaciw-Zurakowsky represented La Salle and the Atlantic 10 Conference at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Oklahoma on Monday.

Jaciw-Zurakowsky placed 179th among the 251-runner field. He finished the 10K race at the OSU Cross Country Course with a time of 32:33.5. The Ontario native joined an elite list as only the fourth different male runner to represent the Explorers at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, joining the likes of Kevin Myles, Todd Witzleben and Sean Quigley.

In a strange year in which the cross country season took place in the spring, Jaciw-Zurakowsky rose to the challenge. He won the Atlantic 10 individual title earlier this month and earned the league's Most Outstanding Performer award in the process. Jaciw-Zurakowsky became the seventh A-10 men's individual champion in program history and was the first male Explorer to make it to the NCAA Cross Country Championships since 2006.
