PHILADELPHIA - La Salle junior Kelli McGroarty was named the Atlantic 10's Co-Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer on Monday, after an impressive showing in the Explorers' 3-1 victory over Fordham on Sunday.

McGroarty scored her first-career hat trick and did it in impressive fashion, tallying all three goals over a span of less than seven minutes to help La Salle build an early 3-0 lead. The Voorhees, N.J. product got on the board first in the 34th minute, continued the onslaught in the 38th, and founded out her scoring output in the 41st minute.

The weekly award from the A-10 is the second of McGroarty's career, as she was named the league's Rookie of the Week during the 2020 season. For 2022, McGroarty leads La Salle in goals (6), assists (4), and points (16), while ranking in the A-10's Top 10 in all three categories.

La Salle looks to build on its road victory with another A-10 matchup away from home on Thursday, Oct. 13 at Richmond. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
