Men's Cross Country | October 14, 2022

• The men's squad recorded an average time of 25:25.00 in the 5.2-mile race to earn 50 points for the first-place victory. This is the first team victory for the Explorers this season.
• The Explorers were led by La Salle veteran Ibrahim Kedir who took second overall with a time of 24:58.6.
• Taonga Mbambo was the next to cross the line for the Explorers in fourth place with a time of 25:08.5.
• MacCallum Rowe finished just shy of the top 10 in 12^th with a time of 25:28.9.
• Finn Birnie earned 15 points for the Explorers with a 15^th place finish clocking in at 25:41.5.
• James Ptack rounded out the point-scorers for La Salle in 17^th place completing the course in 25:47.5.

• The women's squad recorded an average time of 21:49.12 in the 6K for a total of 225 points to place eighth. The Explorers finished ahead of Quinnipiac, Rutgers, Eastern Michigan, Maryland, Bucknell, Youngstown State, Delaware, Temple, Rider and UMBC. West Virginia took the crown placing first.
• Liz Mancini led the charge for La Salle with a fourth-place finish. Her time of 20:33.3 marked a new career-best 6K time for the graduate student.
• El Mancini was the next to cross the finish line for the Explorers in 14^th with a time of 21:00.2
• Christine Mancini followed her sisters in 27^th place with a time of 21:25.4, just a tenth of a second faster than her career-best.
• Maeve Gimbert and Julia Flood rounded out the point scorers for La Salle. Gimbert clocked in at 22:33.7 followed by Flood at the 23:33.0 mark.

• The Explorers return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 29 in Richmond, Virginia for the Atlantic 10 Championships.
