PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The La Salle men's and women's track and field teams had all eight Explorers that competed at the Temple Invite place in the top 10 within their respective events on Friday.

HOW THEY FINISHED (MEN):

• Justice Quainoo was the only Explorer on the men's side to compete. He rounded out the top five in the 400-meter with a time of 52.08.

HOW THEY FINISHED (WOMEN):

• Kasi Brown had the highest finish for La Salle on the women's side. She claimed second in the long jump reaching a mark of 5.40m. Brandalyn Jones also landed in the top 10 in the event recording a distance of 4.41m for ninth place.
• Maya Primas led the Explorers in sprints taking fourth in the 200m with a time of 25.51.
• Ahliyah Allen and Olabisi Adams crossed the line in seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 100m. Allen recorded a time of 12.48 while Adams clocked in at 12.61.
• Emma Reynolds finished the 400m in ninth clocking in at 1:04.48.
• Jamie Green ran the 5,000m in 19:24.52 for eighth.

UP NEXT:

• The Explorers will split up next weekend with half the squad heading across the river to the Larry Ellis Invite in Princeton, New Jersey, while the other half will make the trip to Virginia for the Virginia Challenge.
