Philadelphia, Pa. – The La Salle women's field hockey program announced its schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. The 20-game schedule includes six contests on the Explorers home turf, DeVincent Field.
 
La Salle kicks off the season with a five-game road series beginning with the season opener at Bryan on Friday, August 26 at 4 p.m. The Explorers will remain in the northeast to take on Merrimack that Sunday, August 28 at noon. The Blue & Gold will close out the away series at Rutgers (8/31, 4 p.m.), LIU (9/4, 12 p.m.), and Lehigh (9/9, 6 p.m.).
 
The Explorers will host their home opener against Rider on Sunday, September 11 at noon before hitting the road once again for the Atlantic 10 opener at Lock Haven on Friday, September 16 at 3 p.m. La Salle will return to Philadelphia to pay a visit to Temple on Sunday, September 18 at 1 p.m. then head back home for a Friday afternoon conference matchup against VCU on September 23 at 3 p.m.
 
La Salle closes out the month of September with both an away game at nearby Villanova on Sunday, September 25 at noon and a conference contest at home against Massachusetts on Friday, September 30 at 3 p.m.
 
The Explorers will open the month of October with their fourth game at DeVincent Field against Georgetown on Sunday, October 2 at 11 a.m. A trip to Virginia will ensue when the Explorers take on Richmond on Friday, October 7 at 3 p.m. and Longwood on Sunday, October 9 at noon.
 
The Blue & Gold will have a four-day hiatus before facing Davidson at home on Friday, October 14 at 3 p.m. followed by a trip to New York to take on Wagner on Sunday, October 16 at 1 p.m. La Salle will host its final game of the season on Friday, October 21 at 1 p.m. against Saint Louis before closing out the regular season with road games at Saint Joseph's (10/28, 3 p.m.) and Fairfield (10/30, 1 p.m.).
