PHILADELPHIA, P.a. – La Salle men's soccer coach,
Taylor Thames, announced the addition of
Kevin Brenner to the staff as a volunteer assistant coach.
"Kevin is a winner at all levels, and we're extremely fortunate to have him join the program," Thames said. "His commitment to developing student-athletes is unwavering and will help us continue build the foundation for the next era of Explorers.
Brenner comes to La Salle with over 17 years of coaching experience at all three division levels in college athletics. Most recently, he was part of the coaching staff at the University of Delaware where he helped with the day-to-day operations for the team.
"I'm excited to be back in DI and be a part of this program and this university," said Brenner." I'm very grateful for the opportunity to help this team grow and develop into an A-10 championship caliber squad."
Brenner was the head coach of men's soccer at Eastern University prior to his time at Delaware. While there he led them to 17
th in the national Division III rankings and had the second-best start to a season in the program's history.
Brenner graduated and played for Buffalo State where he was a two-year captain for the team. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management.
"Taylor (Thames) and I have been friends for a while now and we share a lot of the same views on the college game which makes this transition seamless."
