LEWISBURG, Pa. - The La Salle women's golf team competed at the Bucknell Invitational over the weekend. The Explorers finished sixth as a team at 965 and Hannah Basler earned a Top 10 finish as she tied for ninth at 232.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Basler had an impressive showing over the last two rounds, going 74-76 to close as the high finisher for the Explorers.
• Kayleigh Zeman also improved over the final two rounds of the tournament, going 78-75 and tied for 16th overall.
• Paige Cerminaro (T-20th), Nina Okenkova (T-22nd), and Sydnie Leavery (36th) rounded out the competitors for La Salle, who defeated Niagara and Bloomsburg.
• Bucknell picked up a 15-stroke win as a team over Mount St. Mary's, and Bison golfer Tara Thomas earned medalist honors.
